Certified Community Tennis Association Volunteer Requirements
MCTA is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) in Washington State and is affiliated with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) as a certified Community Tennis Association (CTA). In keeping with our mission to "To grow the lifelong sport of tennis throughout the Mid-Columbia community by providing equipment, opportunity & resources,” MCTA requires that all volunteers are screened by the USTA's Safe Play program.

Safe Play Requirements
Adults who have regular contact with or authority over a minor athlete in USTA programs, events, or tournaments must be in compliance with Safe Play. This includes background screens and education about prevent misconduct in sport for the following groups:
